I hope this e-mail finds you safe and well.
The month of November offers so many opportunities to reflect, celebrate, and pause to ponder; Day of All Saints, Day of the Dead, and Thanksgiving to name a few.
One of my favorite holidays is Thanksgiving, partly because I love Pumpkin Pie and have childhood memories of eating loads of it, but mostly because this day provides an opportunity to connect with family and friends and focus on our appreciation for one another.
Everyday life commitments, responsibilities, and our brain's 'default' negative thinking pattern can derail our attitude of gratitude. Yet, with a Gratitude Practice, you can intentionally find the gift in everyday life.
Ever since I started a Gratitude Journal I started feeling more grateful and I started looking at the glass as 'half full' AND it being refillable! Of course, there are seasons when I forget to do it and I immediately start feeling blue.
May this be a reminder for both of us to begin again!
You can establish a Gratitude Practice by creating a journal in which you write down 3 to 5 gratitude statements each day. For example,"I am grateful that I have eyes to read," and "I am grateful my children are healthy and happy." Every day you get to write something new and you can decide whether to journal first thing in the morning or right before bedtime.

5 Day Detox becomes
5 Day Healthy Mind in Healthy Body Challenge
Prepping to lead the 5 Day Detox, I decided to experiment with a few more key ingredients and realized that we simply can't do a body detox without a mental one too. I have incorporated quite a few new strategies to the program and I would love to share them with you.
